It was during this period that the seeds for Otherhome were sown. Drawing from his own experiences, Jimmy envisioned a solution to the accommodation struggles faced by many students like him.

Today, Jimmy proudly leads a dedicated team of 10 at Otherhome. Under his guidance, the company has blossomed and is rapidly solidifying its position as one of Australia’s leading shared accommodation providers. But for Jimmy, this is just the beginning. His sights are set high, with a dream to make Otherhome the number one individual shared accommodation provider in Australia.

Lead of Maintenance Team
The Journey:
I am a maintenance professional at Otherhome, leveraging five years of experience to assist tenants in keeping their homes safe and comfortable. Maintenance work is a crucial aspect of home management, and I strive to provide the best for the safety and comfort of our tenants. Through my experience, I offer customised services to meet various tenant demands and systematically manage all aspects of homes to take preventive measures before problems arise.
My scope of work primarily includes everyday household maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, furniture assembly, fixture replacements, general gardening, and cleaning, both inside and outside of buildings. These tasks help maintain and enhance the value of homes while improving our tenants’ quality of life.
Additionally, if any maintenance issue arises that requires the expertise of a professional tradesperson, I am committed to communicating this need as soon as possible and arranging for the appropriate professional service. Effective communication and prompt service delivery with tenants are integral parts of my job. I listen to and understand tenant requirements, always providing courteous and professional service to enhance tenant satisfaction.I am dedicated to performing maintenance tasks to ensure that tenants can trust their homes are in the best possible condition. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I consistently apply the latest technology and innovative solutions to deliver the best results.
