Otherhome’s Property Management team will provide the ID and Password directly via text or email. However, the password must be changed by the tenant. Otherhome will not be liable if issues arise due to the failure of the tenant in changing the password.
- The Chatting App is suddenly not responding.
If WiFi is connected – Check that the WiFi password is correct. Otherwise, turn WiFi off and turn on Mobile Data.
If Mobile Data is not connected.
The Otherhome Android Chatting App is draining my battery, and heating up my phone.
- The Android Chatting App remains active in the background, even if your phone is asleep.
. However, battery usage is minimal, with only an additional 1-3% more power used. Tests have also concluded that battery drainage and phone heating are minimal issues.
- I am not receiving messages.
I am not receiving messages when my phone is off or my Chatting App account is off.
If one account is used on 2 separate devices, messages will redirect to the phone with the ‘on status’.
Even if the second device is switched to the ‘on status’ past messages will not be resent.
