According to Otherhome’s lease agreement, the electricity bill is divided equally among the number of people living in a house. The length of residency is calculated based only on the move-in and move-out dates specified in the contract. Therefore, please understand that there are no separate electricity bill discounts for leaving the house for holidays or business trips.
Additionally, even if your room is vacant for an extended period, there is a daily charge from the energy company—a basic charge applicable to everyone in the house. Without moving out, electricity costs will be shared equally during your tenancy period.
